Value for money, superb views of English and Scottish coastline.

It was a great site for families & there were many places nearby to go for days out etc. Mr P, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Tyne And Wear 26 September 2010
A peaceful site, aimed at families, which is slowly modernising, although the chalet are 60's looking they are comfortable and spacious, there is a excellent club house, restaurant, take-away, and 2 pubs, all child friendly, the swimming pool is small but good, there is a large modern playground, tennis courts and a 9 hole golf course, with trimmed lawns, the farm houses numerous animals, this site is close to the beach and Silloth town, which offers a small CO-OP, numerous takeaways, a fair ground with all rides been only £1 (which is excellent value for parents). Mr D, Redcar, Cleveland 15 August 2010
We enjoyed our break at Solway Holiday Village. The accommodation was large, comfortable and clean. The hot tub was fantastic and was well used. The park was refreshingly quiet and the farm was a big hit with the kids. Mrs W, Ipswich, Suffolk 09 August 2010

It was very good value for money. Mr. D, SOLIHULL, West Midlands 09 March 2010
Very helpful staff and great value for money! Miss S, NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE, Tyne And Wear 07 March 2010
Silloth is an ideal location for visiting and exploring Hadrian's Wall and associated forts and the beautiful Lake District, both within easy reach. The park itself has loads to offer, is well kept and has many facilities, including indoor and outdoor play areas for children, tennis courts, a farm and nightly evening entertainment - our kids couldn't have had more fun! Mrs D, MARLOW 16 August 2009

Very good for a peace and quiet holiday, but unfortunately because there is no beach I personally wouldn't take small children. Mr H, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire 27 September 2008
